The Frangioni Laboratory occupies approximately 3000 square feet of "wet" space at the BIDMC. It is conceptually organized so that an idea can be developed in the ligand discovery phase, chemically optimized, characterized in vitro, then validated in small and large animal model systems.

By combining all phases of contrast agent development into one physical plant, and by hiring talented researchers, we have greatly improved the contrast agent development process.
